Yes, to do this, you will want to use the Add Student to Homeroom endpoint at https://[your_sub_domain].classroomparent.com/e/cr.

This endpoint will work even if the students are already listed in the homeroom, as it allows a parent to select from the list of students in the homeroom, or add their own.

To use it, you need to provide parents with following:

1. Their students homeroom class_code (which hopefully they will already know, as it should align with the class code used at your school)
2. The homeroom password (see below on how to get this)
3. The Add Student to Homeroom endpoint for your school, i.e. https://[your_sub_domain].classroomparent.com/e/cr

You can get the class codes and passwords from the Classrooms Export in the Admin/Exports area. In this export, you will see a column for the class_code and for the password.

The parents will use the following steps:

1. Go to the Add Student to Homeroom endpoint
2. Enter their student's class code
3. Enter the classroom password
4. Submit the form
5. If the information matches what is in the system, they will:
   1. Select or add their student,
   2. Add their own contact information
   3. Add contact information for other parents

Of note, if a family has multiple students at the same school, they will need to go through this process for each student. They should, however, take care to use the same first name, last name, and email address for their own contact information so ClassroomParent can link their students together. 

IMPORTANT: Do not publicly post the passwords. These should only go to your school community, preferably, only the parents in a homeroom will be given that homeroom’s password. At any time, you can reset the classroom password by editing that homeroom and selecting to have the password reset.
