How does the recurring volunteer opportunities work?
With recurring volunteer opportunities, you can create a schedule of opportunities where a volunteer is needed with some frequency.
This could be every weekday, every Monday, the first and third Wednesday of the month, or any other schedule you can imagine.
When you create a recurring volunteer opportunity, you will be asked to select the schedule using a pop-up picker like that pictured below.
You will be asked to provide an end date on which the occurrences should stop (i.e, they can't go on forever).
We suggest that you choose an end date of no later than the end of the semester, but that is up to you.
Once the recurring volunteer opportunity has been created, you can assign people to dates, and even use a schedule to do that too, as in, a person can be assigned to volunteer each Monday for a recurring opportunity that is needed everyday.
