A club's meetings come from one or more schedules. Open the club's
page and find the Schedules section (it only appears for clubs), then
add a schedule. When you save it, ClassroomParent creates a meeting for every
occurrence between the start and end dates — you don't add meetings one at a
time.
A schedule has these fields:
-
Start date and time — the date and time of the club's
first meeting.
-
Duration — how long each meeting lasts. Combined with the
start time, this determines the end time of every meeting (15-minute steps up to
2 hours, then 30-minute steps up to 12 hours).
-
Meeting schedule (recurrence) — how often the club meets,
for example "Weekly on Mondays and Thursdays" or "Every other week on Wednesdays."
-
End date — the last date the club meets, typically the end of
the grading period or semester.
-
Primary, rain, and dinner locations — where the club meets
(see the separate help topic on club meeting locations).
A club can have more than one schedule. Add a second schedule when part of the year
runs on a different pattern, or when a subset of meetings happens at a different time
or place.
