Who can see the reason for a discount on an order?
The reason you enter, and the name of the person who entered the discount, are only visible to site admins, staff members, and store managers. They can see them on the order at any time, including after the order has been paid or refunded.
The purchaser never sees the reason. On their order, and on their receipt, they see a Discount/Scholarship/Financial Aid line with the amount, and nothing else. This keeps details such as a family's financial aid request private.
